On November 6th, eager fans gathered in line, buzzing with anticipation for a night of intense music and high energy. The Devil Wears Prada is Eternal tour had only been underway for ten days, yet it was already making a powerful impression, and Nashville was no exception. Concertgoers, clearly ready for a heavy-hitting lineup, packed the venue, all set for an unforgettable experience. The Devil Wears Prada didn’t disappoint, bringing along an impressive roster of supporting acts: Greyhaven, SeeYouSpaceCowboy, Like Moths to Flames, and Silent Planet—each band adding their own ferocity to a night fans wouldn’t soon forget.
The night kicked off powerfully with Kentucky’s own Greyhaven, unleashing fan favorites like “Sweet Machine” and “The Welcome Party” to set an intense tone. Next up, hardcore punk band SeeYouSpaceCowboy elevated the energy with crowd-pleasers like “Silhouettes in Motion” and “Lubricant Like Kerosene,” getting everyone moving and chanting along. After a brief break, Like Moths to Flames hit the stage, opening with their well-loved track “Habitual Decline” and leading into “Nowhere Left to Sink.” Mid-set, lead vocalist Chris Roetter shared a special moment, pointing out his mom in the audience and getting the crowd to shout, “Hi, Mom!”—a lighthearted pause in an otherwise heavy night.
Finally, Silent Planet took the stage as the last of the supporting acts, playing intense tracks like “Offworlder” and “Dreamwalker” primarily from their latest album. Between songs, vocalist Garrett Russell expressed heartfelt gratitude for his bandmates and opened up about his own struggles, recounting his suicide attempt and how it inspired the song “Trilogy.” The raw honesty only added to the charged atmosphere, leaving the crowd in awe as they wrapped up their set.
The Devil Wears Prada delivered an unforgettable night on their Eternal tour, playing a fierce 16-song set list, with 2 encore songs that left fans reeling. About halfway through the show, after 11 songs, the band paused to engage the crowd in a vote between two fan-favorite tracks. The winner, "HTML Rulez D00d," thrilled the audience, especially since they’d been favoring “Reptar, King of the Ozone” at most other stops on tour. The surprise track choice only added to the night's excitement.
In one of the more tender moments, vocalist and guitarist Jeremy DePoyster dedicated the song “Chemical” to his fiancée, Emma, setting the tone with a heartfelt acoustic intro. The contrast was striking against the heavier tracks that dominated the set, creating a memorable balance of intensity and intimacy.
The night escalated toward a climactic finale as they tore into “Sacrifice.” At the height of the song’s breakdown, they called on the crowd to form a wall of death—a demand fans took to with wild enthusiasm. At the drop, the two sides collided with force, and confetti cannons erupted, filling the venue with a mix of chaos and celebration.
The Eternal tour stop delivered everything from heavy-hitting anthems to emotional moments, proving once again why The Devil Wears Prada’s live shows are legendary among metalcore fans for nearly 20 years.
