Australian metalcore titans The Amity Affliction have announced their seventh studio album Not Without My Ghosts is due for release 12th May via Pure Noise Records.

In celebration, the band have unveiled the music video for their new single, ‘It’s Hell Down Here’: 

 

The track addresses mortality of loved ones — “This song is a letter from myself and Ahren, written by me, to our friends who have passed on to the other side” says lead vocalist Joel Birch. He continues, “The song is wrapping up how I feel daily, and reflect on the time leading up to my friend killing himself. I'm sure a lot of people who have experienced that guilt at not seeing what becomes glaringly obvious after the fact”.

The Amity Affliction will make their UK return this June for Download Festival, as part of their European Summer 2023 dates.
