With Hurricane Helene looming just days away, the SOLD-OUT first night of FLETCHER's "In Search of the Antidote" tour in Nashville couldn’t have arrived at a better time. Fans were eager for a much-needed escape, and the energy outside the venue matched the stormy skies. Despite the wet and wild weather, no one let the rain dampen their spirits—or their style. September 26th was an added date that sold out within minutes, and as the crowd packed in, there was one question buzzing through the room: what would FLETCHER be wearing tonight? Known not only as a queer icon but also as a trailblazer in fashion, she’s clearly made impact for more than just her music.
Kicking off the night was rising indie pop sensation Maude Latour, whose mix of powerful lyrics and infectious synth-driven beats immediately electrified the crowd. Fans were dancing and singing along to her hit Cosmic Superstar Girl, a track from her newly released debut album, Sugar Water, which she excitedly released back in August. After pouring her high-energy and lovable charm into the audience, she paused to thank Nashville, reminiscing about how her first-ever show took place in the city. Her raw emotion and dynamic stage presence set the perfect tone for what was to come, making her a fitting opener for FLETCHER’s highly anticipated performance.
As the lights dim, the crowd erupts with excitement, their cheers rising as a video of FLETCHER plays on the big screen. The band takes their places, and a lone microphone is set atop a small platform at the back of the stage. With the opening chords of Maybe I Am swelling in the air, anticipation ripples through the room. When FLETCHER finally steps out, the crowd’s roar intensifies, and she feeds off their energy, encouraging everyone to sing along to every word with her.
The energy remained electric as FLETCHER delivered fan-favorite hits like Ego Talking and Guess We Lied, each song keeping the audience on their feet and singing along. However, the night took a more intimate turn when she performed Joyride, creating a quieter, emotional moment that drew the crowd in closer. The vulnerability in her voice paired with the intimate setting allowed the audience to connect deeply with the lyrics, making the performance feel personal and unforgettable.
Bringing the energy back up, FLETCHER had the crowd buzzing with hits like Undrunk and Eras of Us, each track igniting the room with powerful vocals and infectious beats. She closed out the night with a high-octane performance of Antidote, the title track of her album and tour, leaving the audience on a euphoric high as the final notes echoed through the venue.
Just when the crowd thought the night was over, FLETCHER returned for an encore, sending the energy through the roof once again. She kicked off with Doing Better, a fan-favorite anthem, before diving into the fiery Becky's So Hot, which had the audience singing and dancing with renewed enthusiasm. She left the stage for good, leaving the crowd on a high note, buzzing with excitement and wanting more. If you haven’t had a chance to get to know FLETCHER, her latest album In Search of The Antidote will keep you buzzing for more.
