Live Review
On September 28th, just as night was falling, Bring Me the Horizon was playing their 5th show out of the 20 USA tour dates. Screams of the crowd reverberated throughout the room as AI finished the scans of the room for the post human live crowd experience check list. Bring Me the Horizon enters onto a smoke covered stage, and after Oli Sykes asks if the crowd is “ready for the best fucking night of their lives?” they play their first song of the night “Can you feel my Heart”.
Following their strong start with “Happy Song” and “TearDrops” the band was just amping up the crowd for their next song. Once they began playing “Mantra” you could hear the crowd chanting the chorus with every bit of their being.
Their newest single ““sTraNgeRs” was nothing short of unknown by fans. Even as the song says, “we’re just a room full of strangers”, it didn’t feel that way, as everyone felt at home once they walked through the doors that evening. During an already emotional play of “Drown” Oli Sykes not only interacted with but hugged the crowd along the barricade. As they exited the stage with a chanting crowd behind them, we thought it was over, but lucky for us it wasn’t. The screams counted be contained as Bring Me the Horizon re-entered the stage. Blessing us with an encore with “Obey”, “Follow You” and “Throne” Bring Me the Horizon definitely brought this crowd to a whole new level. This was a night to remember both for fans and the band.
