Live Review

The Trivium and Beartooth co-headlining tour is one you’ll want to witness for yourself! This combo that you’d never expect to work so perfectly together will blow you away.

Archetypes Collide started the night off strong. They had everyone in the room singing along during their cover of Linkin Park’s “One Step Closer”. They definitely got the energy set for the night!

Next Malevolence took the stage. They kept the energy at a 10 and had the crowd start the biggest mosh pit I saw all night. I couldn’t think of two better openers for this tour.

Beartooth had everyone in the room singing along to “Livin’ on a Prayer” before the band took the stage. They played songs off of every album from “Disgusting” to “Below”. They also included their two most recent singles “Sunshine!” and “Riptide”. Although “Sunshine!” was released only a little over two weeks prior, everyone knew the lyrics and sung along at the top of their lungs. The energy this band has is unlike any other and the crowd had no trouble matching that energy. Everyone was on their feet from start to finish.

The headliner for the night was Trivium. They started off by throwing it all the way back to “Ascendancy” with their song “Rain”. Their stage production was definitely the most unique of the night including dragon statues with red illuminating eyes, the one of a kind drum riser, and the banner featuring Japanese symbolism. During “In Waves”,  frontman Matt Heafy instructed everyone to lay on the ground and jump up during the intro of the song, I don’t think a single person didn’t participate! The fun didn’t stop there with mosh pit after mosh pit and the occasional crowd surfer, everyone was immersed in the experience. They finished the night off on a strong note with “Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr”. This tour is one for the books, don’t miss it!
